Tree service in Maumelle, AR 72113
Maumelle was planned from the start, and so were many of its trees. Fifty years on, the trees planted with the first neighborhoods are big, and they need the kind of care a young planned town never had to think about.

Short answer
We cover all of Maumelle from our Little Rock service office, including the older neighborhoods from the 1970s and 1980s, the golf-course and lakeside communities and the newer subdivisions on the edges. The most common jobs here are trimming and thinning mature shade trees, removals of trees too close to houses, stump grinding and storm cleanup.

Fifty years of trees in a planned town

Maumelle began in 1967 as one of only thirteen federal New Towns planned in the 1960s and 1970s, on land that had been the Maumelle Ordnance Works. Its first resident arrived in 1974. Lake Willastein park, with a 55-acre lake at its center, is often called the heart of town.
The trees planted with those first neighborhoods are now large, and many were placed close to houses, sidewalks and streets with little thought for how big they would get. Thinning, clearance pruning and the occasional removal keep them safe.
Many Maumelle neighborhoods have homeowners association rules on tree work, so check whether yours needs approval before a removal. We are happy to describe the work for the application.
