Short answer
We cover all of The Heights from our Little Rock service office on Stanton Rd. Most calls here are for trimming big oaks away from roofs, reducing heavy limbs over driveways and removing trees that have declined, with every piece lowered on ropes on tight lots. Storm calls are worked first, any hour.

Century-old trees on Heights streets

The Heights and Hillcrest were once one suburb, Pulaski Heights, which first developed in the 1890s, was incorporated in 1903 and was annexed by Little Rock in 1916. Many of the oaks along these streets were planted or left standing when the houses went up, so a lot of them are now about as old as the neighborhood.
Old trees on small lots make for careful jobs. Limbs hang over roofs, garages, fences and the yard next door, and a removal usually means climbing the tree and lowering each piece on ropes rather than felling it. We trim back to side branches so the crown keeps its shape, and we never top a tree.
Steep yards on the bluff side and driveways that drop to the street change how equipment gets in. We look at access first, then decide whether a bucket truck, a climber or a crane is the right way to do the job.
